Thanksgiving Sale

We are preparing for one of the biggest bargains of the year this weekend! All stores will be having their Thanksgiving Sale this Friday and Saturday. For the internet shoppers, the deepest discounts to get ready for will be available on Monday at 12mn, Eastern Standard Time (Monday at 1pm, Manila time).

It is best to browse through the websites of shops you like starting this Friday and buy them right away if they are available already. If the site says that it will be available on Monday, hang on to your mouse on Monday before 1 pm (Manila time) to make sure that you get what you want and that nobody else grabs it before you do.

Watch out for great deals with laptops (you can get some for as low as $300!), digital cameras and other highly-coveted electronics. There will be great deals on brand-name clothes, shoes and accessories. Another category to look for would be homeware and kitchen gadgets. Don't forget the things for your little ones, too!

Please keep in mind that with all this shopping frenzy, you have to protect yourself too. Always buy from reputable websites. It is the time for clothes-shopping! Check out the sale section of your favorite brands - their summer sales are going on. This means Philippine-weather clothes at irresistible prices. Check out the Mango shop for stuff that is not available in Manila, Urban Outfitters for city chic and Nordstrom for classics. Hop over to the Penguin store too. Remember this preppy brand from the 70s? They have an interesting selection on sale.

July 4th Shopping

It's shopping time! There are July 4th sale announcements popping up everywhere! Check out MacMall for cool Apple gadgets, Bluefly for nice designer clothes, Williams-Sonoma for nice things for the kitchen and home and practically all online stores have big discounts for a week. It is a good idea to go to big store sites such as Target, Bloomies, Urban Outfitters, Banana Republic, Zappos, B&H, Circuit City, Crate and Barrel, and the like because they would have really good sale stuff going on.
